Reply With Quoteif you search a bit you will find a variety ccts for card readers. Search with GW1 as the member. You may get away with putting in the crystal for the freq you're after in the the reader you have got.

i found here the same phoniex which i have any modification for it to make it work in 8MHz or 10MHz
like I mentioned above I'd try changing the xtal for the freq you're after.
