do a search on the file name in google. download a version and place it in the same dir that the program's .exe is in, if this does not work place it in the windows/system32 dir.
and it will be a .OCX too i believe not oxc.

Hi, Purchased Jaycar MK2 and assembled, tried to read as much as I can,
put together all the bits, have old desktop running ICprog, followed Farmsky's tut. and can read old goldie.
Problem I have is that I cant load ggedit onto Windows 95os installed on my computer. Comes up with (Can't load or register custom control:COMCTL32.oxc) I cant get LMedit to load either. Any thoughts pls.

Why not just download all the OCX files that are required
Then install the files in the correctly prescribed manner.
Go to the Run item on the Start menum, and type:
regsvr32 <path & filename of dll or ocx>
Thanks for replies. Loaded the files to get going.
Cheers again
