CS questions
I have 3 specific questions for anyone who can help:
How much bandwidth does it use over the net?
Is there a minimum required net speed?
and do you still need a dish?
Thank you in advance.

1; not much
2: have tested with 128 and worked,it is more of a latency issue than speed

Thanks for the quick reply. Ok I am getting a better picture of how it works now, you mention latency, is this a major problem as my connection tends to have a high latency at times.
latency is the big part of it

satellite broadband. will it still work when the ping is as high as 990 ms most of the time?
sorry mick will constantly drop, have run tests on next g and was falling over every few minutes so with sat would be worse
Works fairly well on a dial up service with internet sharing on a xp machine. As mentioned already latency is more critical than speed.

I think latency would still be your problem, not to mention the cost for the gprs usage.
