How can I tell the difference between a gamma and a whitey?
What software is needed to verify what os is on these cards?

Both are the same thing, as for os you could use gamma loader or sataid loader but what is the point, you cant make the card do anything anyway, and if its a sellers card you will probably kill it.

You say serial number. What would I be looking for to tell if its a gamma or something different? I can sit and look at a serial number all day and wont know bugger all unless I know what to look for.

I think Zakt72 means the ATR of the the card mim it is to convert HEX to ACSII so you can tell what it is
