    Default PLL Ku LNB

    Gday,

I need a frequency stable LNB to listen to voice on D1 without having to continually tune my scanner, input ~12.2 - 12.35 GHz.

Could anyone please advise where I can buy a new or used PLL Ku LNB with good stability?

    Regards, V..

    G'Day Cobber,
We need to know exactly what frequency range you have on your scanner.
Satellite Boxes typically tune 950 to 2150 MHz.
The Sat frequencies are hetrodyned down to this range by the LNB.

Kindest Regards, " The Druid "..........

They be damn expensive! But to listen to SCPC, it's what you need for stability.

    Shiver me timbers, they're expensive.

Any sat shops in Singapore/Hong Kong with cheaper prices?

    Are you still after one?

I was rumaging through some boxes and found my old PLL LNB. It's only single polarity and needs a feedhorn.
It's a MTI BKUP042. Can't find any info on the interweb or from the original supplier Avcomm.
