PS3 Repair warning Brisbane
Took my PS3 to be reapired, told to pay $352 ready next day. Next day not ready, 3 days later an overseas PS3 was delivered not working. Doest play region 4 dvds. X & O buttons swapped around. Doesnt Match my serial number. Complained and told they only replaced my motherboard. 2 weeks later they told me they replaced my PS3. Went to get it swapped back to mine and my $352 back as agreed. Rock up told to leave the old ps3 and leave immediately by the time he counted to 3.
Hows that for professional service

Nice guys now I have no proper working PS3 and I have had to go to the cops to try and get mine back. If I ever get it back and it was a nice 60 GB model too.

That guy has been ripping people off in Brisbane for years.
If I remember correctly, Sony has a flat repair rate for PS3 @ $350, g'teed no mater what the fault is, so yep.... Sounds like you got taken for a ride.

Never go to Mod Chip Wizard they are bigtime crooks I went to get my wii modded and they said it would take 2 weeks. I went to a modchipper at Acaia Ridge, Speed Demons. He charged $100 and he did it then and there. He said that Mod Chip Wizard does the job in half an hour but not properlly causing errors.
So how long does modchip wizard take to chip a wii? 2 weeks or half an hour ? LOL
The told me 2 weeks but most of the time in half an hour.

No Abn or business number?
I bought a wii from Modchip-wizard but Paul refused to give me a receipt after payment. I asked him if he had a abn or queensland business number but would not reply. Is it illegal to refuse to give a receipt, as I wanted one for my extra warranty I paid for. He trades under modchip-wizard but is not listed under fair trading qld. I think he is dodging the tax office and trading illegally in Queensland!!
I tried looking his business up on the ato web site & fair trading Queensland but found nothing. Should I report him to fair trading for illegal trading?
His web site has no ABN or qld BN.
After reading other peoples dodgy dealings with him, I'm now a bit worried that I might have received stolen goods!!
He had lots of 360s and wii's in his living room including swords & Knives which look like illegal imports.

mate this guy may be dodgy but that doesnt mean he is a thief , i mean ive got about 6 360s sitting around in various conditions at the moment and 2 ps3s and none of them are stolen.
if you want too get him that badly go after him with the tax dodge thing , personally i wouldnt bother but thats just me... one would think you are legally entitled too a reciept though.
