Im requesting the assistance of any excel gurus.

When you tab or use the keys to move to a cell and start typing excel automatically writes on top of the old data in the cell. What i want to know is there a way to make it automatically put the caret at the end of the data and therefore add to the cell rather than highlight the lot and type over it.

Ive worked out you can do it by pushing F2 but i would prefer if it could be done automatically.

Any ideas will be appreciated.
