Default ... and so it starts again

During every war there have been suggestions, motto's if you like, that 'Loose lips sink ships' and never a truer words has been said.

I notice from my logs last night that a large swathe of HSN's including two of my own are now dead in the stream.

I can't help but think that if this is a war we are waging then we are loosing a fighting battle, with almost all of the harm we are experiencing, being inflicted by our own side.

Well, it's too late to shut up now - the damage has been done.

You don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand much of whats posted is being monitored.

They don't need to work out how to stop things when much of the tips to how things are opened are freely being posted around the web.

Its why im happy to just keep paying for a sub, guaranteed pictures without all the hassle.

Fun from an educational point of view but if you want pics just pay for it.

Couldn't agree more God, and I too pay multiple subscriptions but the challenge of a few extra channels is always inviting.

Now here is the irony behind your thread.

The provides now know they are hitting the right targets and having success.

Constant posting of problems and solutions gives them all the answers they need to continue fighting.
Members are doing all their work for them, they change something, monitor forums and see the results and any solutions, study the solution and implement a new change to throw another spanner in the works.

Its a battle that cannot be won in the long run.

Now sit down, look at your $ investments and time for a few extra channels and all the mucking around involved and time without pics too.

I think playing with it is more about the enthusiast and his hobby rather than having a free ride.

Too be honest mate, it's not rocket science working out what to hit, neither is it expensive for them.

But essentially you are correct, it can't be won but it can be slowed down.

Myself I'm not overly concerned, like I said I have my subscriptions, no it's the constant proliferation of rumor and innuendo put about by some members, the almost sly way people like to say things like 'you'll be surprised what happens with XXX set top box and XXX card', it's almost like they cant wait to say "I know something you don't know, nah nah nah nah nah nah"

Some people call it human nature - I call it stupidity.

    @ thread starter
They have always done HSN clear outs and will continue to.

People cancel their subscriptions when the money runs out, or they no longer watch it. Just because you have lost some HSNs in the stream doesn't always equate to someone has now posted them somewhere and the providers have put a stop to it.

    @ everyone
    "I know something you don't know" :P :P :P
    But who gives a Rats.

People like to show off plain and simple.
Life is to short to worry about the crap.

Whats it really matter if people post what is working with what box and what isn't.

Its what keeps people coming back to places like this the slim chance of someone big noting themselves, This place is and has been full of these so called self made 'GODS'.

These things keep the providers active and the Idiots that want FREETV will keep throwing money after a sure thing even when it lasts for a month, week or day.

If you feed ducks at a pond, chances are your bound to feed a goose or two without even knowing it.
