satchy i used this method below from another forum to change celebrity voices

To change the voices....
1. Select the celebrity voice "dataxx.chk" & dataxx.vif" from the folder and copy to desktop.
2. Rename the files to one of those found in the TomTom app. They start at "data00.chk" and "data00.vif" and go up to about 60. the data00" files are those of "Dansk - Brigitte". I haven't checked the rest.
3. SSH into your iPhone and find the TomTom application folder.
Once in the TomTom folder got to the folder "voices". On my iPhone it was located in "private/ver/mobile/applications/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-x....../Australia.app/voices"
4. Drag your newly renames files from your desktop into the voices folder on your iphone. You will be prompted if you want to overwrite. I did. But you might want to make a backup of the originals before you do.
5. Now you can open your TomTom app on your iPhone and go to Settings then voices. If you used the file names with "00" then you can select the voice of "Dansk - Brigitte" and low and behold you will have your celebrity voice.

esky i just tryed to use other voices like arnie and yoda and so on it doesnt work any suggestions ? they are the same format in the voice dir

Renaming the app

To change the name of the app from Australia to TomTom AUS. SSH into the app folder and grab the info.plist. Open it with a text editor & look for

<string>Australia</string>

and rename it to whatever you want.. I put mine to TomTom AUS.. save and SSH the file back..

or before you install the app you can open the .ipa file with winrar & replace info.plist with your edited copy & also copy your updated speed & red light camera files into AustraliaMap folder

Thankyou for the find excellent got it loaded and going and put the speed cameras in the Australia.app dir but cant get the speed cam to work any ideas..................I think the app works very well my tomtom and Iphone are neck and neck and my advise to esky is to get his iphone checked dosnt sound like its working like it should.

Secure your links with Relink.US or some other service and if not too late protect your archives (and the filenames inside) with a password.
Most unprotected links on Rapidshare are killed within two weeks....
Someone is searching forums for unprotected links and reports them - protected links are harder to find

Thank you guys! Installed it last night and try it this morning which work beautifully...

One thing, I try to follows the instruction for speed cams and red light cams but it did not work... Can anyone explain why? Anything else I need to do? Cheers!

How about a jailbreak for the iphone 4 4.2.1

download your appropriate file, read the readme contained within, follow the instructions and your phone should be jailbroken in about 2 mins. Just used this on 4.2.1 on a 3gs but i know it does also work for iPhone 4.

Keep in mind that 4.3 is just around the corner so you can decide whether to wait or not. Jailbreakers already have exploits ready for 4.3 so it shouldnt take long to jailbreak but its up to you.
