    Default rundll error

    hi guys when my pc boots up i get an error rundll missing msxm192z.dll any suggestions

    does it end up booting or you just hangs there? give us more details.

    Probably a good thing that it's missing, as it's a trojan/key logger and your computer is probably infected with malware/spyware.

    Which antivirus and anti malware/spyware software are you running?

    If you don't have it, try downloading and running malwarebytes and spybot search & destroy, plus a full scan with current antivirus software.

    once i click on it the message goes away and the pc works normal the anti virus i am using is mcafee i am running xp

    The PC is probably working, but trying to load the malware/spyware program, but your AV has probably killed the dll, hence the popup.

    The problem with this type of malware/spyware, is it can send out your personal info like credit card details and passwords, etc.

    There are probably still numerous registry entries running, so dowload & scan with the programs I mentioned.

    have you tried system restore to a previous date before you started getting this message?
