AGL was the cheapest going a few years ago when I changed but have not looked since.
Just moved into new house, and current electricity is supplied by AGL.
received, first bill and noticed there's no discount.
The Question is, has ANY one done research on who is the cheepest in Oz?
I could do a search but i'm hoping someone else has done the work.
Yes I'm slack but I'm on N/S and I'm Fu$%ed.

Thanks for the site reference to Go Switch Svenok, I tried it and it seems that I'm on a good plan with Integral energy at the moment.
It's too bad that they don't have LPG plans listed, That's where rural people get hit in the pocket.
Just checked that site, It's bullshit.
They quote 21+ cents /KWh for my supplier, Country Energy whereas My bill is @ 16+ and 5+ offpeak. Service quoted is $240/annum and mine is $120.
I also get Pensioner discount and life support equipment $184.
The suppliers that they list seem to be close to double.
No, I don't have shares in Country Energy, just that there is something radically wrong with their figures.

Stay away from AGL. They are incompetent pricks. I was waiting for my electricity bill from Feb to May, starting ringing up looking for it in late June. Received it middle of July, about to pay it at end of July, received another bill double the first one. I disputed it and was sent another bill dearer than first, cheaper than second. I paid the first one. Come August, I receive another bill for May to Aug. Three days later I receive another bill $5 cheaper than that the August bill. So the point is, I had to pay $450 at the end of July, then another $770 in August because of their f**k up. I have looked at Integral's pricing and they are slightly cheaper even though I was getting 5% discount from AGL, and Integral are only giving 4% discount. Overall they are cheaper. AGL will not put their pricing for NSW on their website and Integral have their pricing up. The fact AGL will not put their pricing for NSW up, tells me they have something to hide. AGL also lifts their rates without notice. I hate AGL with a vengence....
