Default Mame Frontend, What are you using...???

Who is running Mame and what frontend are you using...???

I am getting close to finishing my cab design (not built yet) and was looking for an easy to use frontend that looks good and uses the joysticks to select a game

    Cheers
    Shagga

My old cab still runs Mame32, and you can use the joystick to go down the list, but over 3,000 games its a slow processand i have configured buttons to start and end games
I have a keyboard in a pull out drawer and usually just select the letter of the game i am looking for, then use the joystick to scroll through that letter

I use Mala on my Mame cab, its easy to use and there are heaps of tutorials and support for it.

    Good luck,

    Simon.

Have you tried Maximus Arcade - very user friendly and allows for most emulators...

I've been wanting to use MultiFE but given I can't get it to work, I can't work out if it's any good.

well after years of mame i dumped it and now use a dedicated 60 in 1 jamma board
i like the instant on no more corupted hard drives
and also when friends come over they all ask to play galaga and the oldies
got a 48 and 60 in 1 left over if any ones intrested
