Thanks so much to you all - Especially Omega99 and myf360f1
I read the blog. I bought the replacement power switch. I replaced the switch. I saved myself a call out fee

This has just occurred literally 10 mins ago, Electrolux Dishlex dishwasher model DX 302. Push the power button in nothing happens. Push and hold the power button in and the unit springs to life. I have put racing tape over the button to hold it in because its chock a block and we need to wash tonight.

So is the problem the power button/switch itself not staying in when pushed or is it some sort of remote solenoid/switch which will not remain closed when pressed???

    TIA

Default trying to source link to wiring diagram mentioned in thread.

I just noticed this older thread, I have similar problem with our same Dishlex unit. I was not able to find the link mentioned, I assume the overall layout of the site has changed and the reference to the link for the file (for the wiring diagram) is not longer active ?
Would be great if link could be provided again .

    Thanks

    Default DX302 wiring diagram

    Hi,

My DX302 is not heating water. Solder joints on heater relay are fine. Could anyone please send me wiring diagram? The link mentioned previously does not work anymore.

    Thanks

once the computer sees the tacho signal fail it disables the heater as it doesnt have any way of knowing that the pump is pushing water through the system and in turn across the element.

    replaced and all good,

the manual has the fault codes and shows which key combos to press to read them out,

Hi Koshari......my dishwasher seems to have the same issue as the heater checks fine plus no solder issue with heater relay on circuit board. Did you replace the pump or only the tacho can be replaced?

    Thanks

I have the same issue with my DX302 not heating, i picked up a complete spare machine about 2 years ago and swapped the circuit board but it has no succumbed to the same problem.
Its an old machine and works fine apart from not heating.

Check the solder on heater relay of the control box. In most cases the solder joints melt and once resoldered, it works fine. Unfortunately on my dishwasher solder joints are ok and the issue may be with tacho but I need wiring diagram to do thorough checks.

Already tried this. I checked voltage at the heater connector that connects to relay and it checks bet 3-4 volts when the recirculating pump starts and increases to 240 volts about 10 secs after. So not sure what the exact issue is and that’s why I was looking for a wiring diagram or service manual
