Default What encryption is used here in Australia?

In Northern Ireland we have Virgin media who were NTL before going into admin in debt.

Our encryption system is called Nagravision. All our providers boxes have to have a card.

Altho we can use the same as you guys like dreamboxes, dbox`s, digivox, eurovox etc...

We use PACE and SAMSUNG Set Top Box`s as our main source of TV channels.

    Sky movies/sky sports/discovery etc.

We get Rom11 RevB0D cards as an OSC when we take a package out which we unloop/glitch to open the card for editing.

This is to create a MOSC using a program called nagraedit 4.1.

Just wondering what boxes do you guys get from your providers and whts your networks encryption?

Do you use cards? What type? I wanna learn from everywhere about this stuff as i have been doing from 1998...

Do you have an upload/download section for cards bin files etc?

Our nagravision has been cracked for years now....

There are two main cable tv providors Foxtel and Optus. Both use NDS.

Via satellite Foxtel and Optus use NDS and Irdeto II

    There is:

    Foxtel/Optus - NDS
    Austar - Irdeto 2
    Selectv - Irdeto 2

There are a few smaller companies that use Irdeto 2 and you can get the odd BISS and Viaccess encrypted signals.
