    what logger should i use to check for valid hsn ?

    just use that emk database logger and GUP. Looks for the 'streeter files' they should be still there.

    I'm using IRD LogExtract will that do the job ? and which hsn do I want CB or C3

    I find EMK logger the easiest to use, then use EMK database manager to find your HSN (as Leroy stated above). You want the CB BTW.

    CB or C3 some cards are addressed by either they are both emk updates.

    Default Logging

    I find that logging the PID logger for 24hrs the easiest to use, then convert it to IDB FILE and IDX FILE

    Im using gup to put in the string I found my hsn in. But it comes up emm unsuccessful. What am I doing wrong ?

    I think depending on what version GUP you use that's normal.
    Eventhough it says EMM unsuccessful it still does the job.

    GUP 4.4 I'm also trying to use emk database manager and trying to get gup to connect with it using aussie tools i got the right ip in the online seacher in aussie tools but says socket error

    any ideas ?

    yeah both apps running on same computer with windows 7 ultimate tried my 192.168.1.100 which is my computers ip and 127.0.0.1 still socket error but if i do it from the emk database manager online sercher it works but i want it to work in gup. My head hurts lol

    I can't remember what version of GUP doesn't report the unsuccessful EMM but I'm pretty sure someone here posted that a certain version does report it properly.

    Tried both gup version's the string starts with C3 any ideas what im doing wrong ?
