Austech VBulletin upgrade

The forum has upgraded its software from 3.6.0 to 3.8.4

Some things may/may not work and will be dealt with once identified.

An error stating an issue with a security token for new registrations has been reported and should hopefully be fixed this afternoon.

Due to a Vbulletin fault with the upgrade which needs to be fixed in regard to the above issue , you may have display issues today while new 3.8.4 templates are customised to suit the site. Apologies in advance. New registrations are currently turned off.

If anyone comes across anything not working ( or gone ) can they please post here. This is a bit of a pain of a job so I would prefer if members did post here with any issues. I will probably already know about most of them but its better this way so I dont miss anything.

The Nav Bar containing Today's Posts etc is missing.
New Posts has always been there, different Nav Bar.

There used to be a black and white colour scheme, now its only black and gold and default Also the 'reload this page' pic dosen't load at the top of the page. Not sure if this is skin dependent or not.

Default and Black and Gold are the only styles that will be supported in the upgrade. The other 2 havent worked properly and have been missing features for a long time and have been removed. 2 new supported 3.8 styles will be added.

Ok , 5 hours of upgrading is enough for me , my eyes are going square and my brain hurts so I will continue tomorrow . The navbar links and locations will be changed around , I just wanted to get everything up there before I stopped for the day.

iTrader has been updated to a new paid for version. There is a link on the toolbar , and if you click on anyones name and look at their profile there is a tab in there as well.

There are some new forum features , so take a look around you probably know as much as me about them.

There has been an intermittent problem where users have received a message about a security token , hopefully this has stopped but I will have to wait to see if there are still complaints.

Thanks for your patience , I could have closed the board for 5 hours but as I didnt get a lot of people bugging me I left it open.

Sanity - here is a screenshot of the reload picture not loading. Seems to only be an issue if you are using the gold skin. Hope this helps

One other thing I just realised when I was uploading the pic - the imageshack upload dialog box is now gone.

I agree with Leroy, thanks for leaving the forum open during the upgrade. Seems that things went pretty smoothly.
