A couple of warning bells are sounding:

    The 40GB/80GB/120GB/160GB/250GB hard disk inside
So what size is in it? Note the seller doesnt actually say what it comes with!

    optional CONAX embedded
So how do u ask for one that has it embedded? No mention of that either.

One thing is certain though, if you dont get one with the embedded conax, u will need a cicam to watch anything encrypted. In theory if u use a purple or 2.20 freecam it should work with whitey, in theory!

Be carefull... I'm sure it would not be a true twin. Alot of satellite boxes claim twin turner but will only allow you to watch shows on the same transponder.

I have a diginet dvr card for my pc based security system, purchased direct from china and its a piece of crap with little to no support.

Id be thinking twice before purchasing anything Diginet in the future.

    G'day mate
do a search on the TOPFILED 4000 and 5000 PVR SAT RECEIVERS, they had twin tuners and work as a treat, I have a TOPFILED 4000, and it does record from one tuner while showing another channel as long as they are one the same transponder < vertical or horizontal>, haven't tried both tuner at once though, as I only have one dish, hope this helps.
    cheers

    Wink

Mate, I did heard, seen, and help setting up big dishes, dual LNB's, LNB holders, and the rest, but where I live now I only have 65 cm dish which is not worth to motorized it or have dual Lnb on it.
my first post was to try to help out someone asking about dual tuner RECEIVER.
you don't have to be so aggressive, as we all here are to seek help and good advise, and if it's possible to provide one.
take it easy mate and have a nice one

I bought one of these Digitnet twin tuners. Not very good at all. Although I have managed to solve the Audio PID recording problem (Coship support made an Australian firmware update after my cries for help), it still has plenty of issues.

    I posted a full list a while ago, but it seems to have disappeared. The biggest problems are;

    * Won't record/view 2 scrambled channels at the same time
    * Won't show PIP, even if you're using tuner 2 on another satellite viewing a free to air channel.
    * If you've manually scheduled a program to record, the box pops up a window every hour (yes, every hour of the day until the scheduled program begins programming) confirming with an OK or Cancel - even pressing OK or Cancel does nothing - the window stays for 10 seconds regardless

They're the biggest - there's plenty more little annoyances like the coloured button functions are different in every part of the boxes setup/configuration/menus, and others.

My advice is just don't buy one.

    Default UltraPlus880 miCro-PVR "TIME MACHINE"

I've also seen these advertised on Ebay recently.

Is there anyone using one that can offer advise about whether these are worth investing in.
