WFBS Manager i hear works wonders...
Havn't personally tried it though so cant really comment
Got me A Wii.
Have got the Homebrew Channel up and running.
Now have an external USB drive (80 Gig) with many games already backed up to it.
Saving games to usb so never need to scratch any disks by inserting etc.
Games run great from usb.
Would like to make a backup of my USB Drive.
Question is
Is there a imaging program that anyone knows that can copy my USB to another drive should my sectors ever become faulty.
Something like acronis or Drive image that will see a WFBS filesystem or whatever the format was.
That way I can put my backup away from any possible damage.
Cheers

yea use that. and i think youll have to manually re-put them from PC-> new usb though
WFBS Manager 3.0 will clone hdd to hdd, or wbfs_intellegent_gui_6 can extract the ciso to pc so the image stays compressed

Thanks Guys, Just what I was Looking For
yeah i use WBFS manager also.
Do i need to format an external hdd to WBFS before i can backup discs to it ?
Yes you have to format your disk to WBFS.....Use WBFS Manager on you PC to do this.....or USB Loader on the Wii can also do it. I recommend using WBFS Manager. Plug your usb drive in the PC, work out which drive letter it is, run WBFS Manager, 'load' your drive (the drive letter you worked out before), then format drive....it's that easy..

Hi, does anyone know if the usb loader recognises the wd 1tb hd? I seem to be having issues with mine
I had partitioned mine in two to have 500g of wbfs and 500g of ntfs. No problems with in using configurable usb loader and gx

For a larger external HD storage capacity, you can try My Book 3.0 by WD. Its already USB 3.0. Storage capacity is up to 2TB. Transfer speed is 5gb per second. Not kidding. It's for real.
goldi read the thread
your talking sh*t
Definately, I call it WD spam. Of course its stupid claiming transfer speeds for the Wii because what ports are in the wii, yea USB 2.0
Coding in C is like sending a 3 year old to do groceries. You gotta tell them exactly what you want or you'll end up with a cupboard full of pop tarts and pancake mix.
