Logging Info wanted??

Gday,

I'm new to satellite Tv and am using it to watch ABC/SBS off D1 and hopefully next month Bathurst V8 feed from D2. I have seen a lot of talk about logging and it all seems to be directed towards pay tv. How does this work?. From what I gather the Transport Stream is "logged" for for EMM's, EMC's or something. Are theese put into a seperate file so you can watch pay tv like F*xtel, A*star, Select etc???? I do not know much about all this as I am quite happy with what I get for free, but would still like to know how things can be done or what can be done. Any explanation as to what a EMM or EMC etc are would be good also.

Thanks mate but I can't open the file. Every part I try says navigation to the webpage was canceled.... Is there anywhere else I can look??

You need to download the "Sat" WinRAR ZIP archive (.zip), from the Rapidshare link,

then Extract the files,

the rest is self explanatory

yeah I can download and unzip the file and see the txt and chm files, the txt will open but the chm will not open on this pc . I will try tomorrow on a old Windos 98 pc (this one has XP) and see if it works.
