    Default PDR4-lx

    I have a pdr4-lx i need to connect it to the network, i have ping the unit ok. The problem is i can't get it to work with the software. i have address the unit id as "1" the pasword is "1234", it keeps saying invalid password or unit id.

    Any ideas or is there something that i have missed.

    What are the Port settings in the DVR? Did you change them?

    Defaults are;
    Remote Admin: 8200
    Remote Watch: 8016
    Remote Search: 10019
    Remote Callback: 8201

    Are you using Iras? I seem to remember with the PDR's there is a password to get into programming in the unit (4321) and there is a password to get in via IRAS/RAS which is 12345678????

    Its in the Book from memory towards the back..
