Default Glofiish X610 desperate need to reset to factory default remotely?

    Hi,
    I have two Acer/ETEN Glofiish X610's.
One has developed a fault with the touch screen during a distracation at the wrong time whilst installing the touch screen fix.
The other X610 has the fix and is working OK.
Touch screen works in reverse and has lost its referenece points.
CPU seems to running nine to the dozen.
I cannot get to the factory reset or too the recalibration screen.
It has the lock button which cannot be unlocked.
Can I reset to factory defaults using internet explorer and active sync.
Can I force a reset to factory defaults another way.
If all esle fails can I delete the old sysytme and copy from the second one?

    Thanks
    Bill

I assume you already tried the hard reset procedure by using power and reset buttons.
If you can't get your phone to respond you can always try to reflash it's firmware. I am not sure the exact procedure, you can check with your device manual or consult with ETEN site. The firmware re-flashing should reset your phone to the factory defaults.
