Yes the providers are in control for the situation as mentioned by Sanity, and im sure the forums are being monitored too for any new bits of info or hints.

makes me laugh though as a certain number of a certain type of receiver hits our shores and before one has even been sold they are useless unless you want to use them for for what you already have

Why ? I thought only Kevin Rudd and Steven Conroy wanted to censor the internet so you cant read what you want.

Paytv providers dont sit here waiting for something to happen. They infiltrate sellers friends and dealers and get access to material that way. They usually have a pirate card before most other people do. They dont just knock it on the head as soon as they get it. They wait until a sufficient number of people have wasted thousands on " free tv " so when they knock it out it hurts more.

They proved how easily they could do it last time.
