do you use bitorrent ? more than likely a stoopid question ....

have you noticed a huge decrease in off peak (overnight) downloads of late?

i am battling to get 15 to 30kbs a second on a 1500/256 connection using torrents overnight but get speeds around 160kbs exactly at and after 12.01pm.

exetel seem to have put the brakes on p2p during off peak, they say themselves that its between 8am and 12pm they throttle but i believe it starts at 2am.

they recently changed the start time for offpeak from 12 to 2am and ever since i cant get anywhere near my quota, last month i hit 44gb offpeak, this month its 16gb.

can anyone else confirm what i am experiencing? several google searches seems to tell a similar tale.
