If RUST is still out there maybe he can help us both as I have tried every driver I could find.
you know that no one could get it to work with XP , you could try and look at the ProgDVB website and see what you can find there as rust use to hang out there, you have to change a DLL file to get it to work

I shall give it a go on 98 as I have wasted enough time on XP and now you have warned me I realise why I had no luck.
Thanks again Cheers Marty
A high chance I'm wrong but I think there was a sort of working system for XP and progdvb, you had to find the right drivers and fiddle a bit as in renaming dll's and you needed a channel list from some else as it couldn't / wouldn't do a channel scan.
Skymedia 200D Windows 2000/XP driver and application software
Yes and no even rust could not get it to work with xp, as for renaming the dll that is correct also, there is a read me in the files i uploaded that explains it. as for channel scan some could do it some could not, but if needed i have a channel list.
as for the bordernet.com link i think you will find those files arefor the sat internet that this card was made for

I logged for years with my SM200D and Win98
gee its been a while since I played with this , looks like the last time was 2003 and I remember you had some involment with this too tagg. I did end up getting a SM200dpa to work on winxp with progdvb, yanksee and MDLoggen. It is a trick that needs to be done with the .dll during the install using SKY300.DLL and renaming it to SKY200.DLL. Mostly was another problem with xp drivers installing correctly or conflicting with sound card drivers. I had to use a mix of 3 different drivers to even get the data tab to work correctly just for logging. the sm200dpa will not work for a channel scan from the transponder, got that from a couple of very hepfull members from this site Im pretty sure thstreamreader file was required as well.
Anyway here are the files you will need to get xp to install properly
just copy over the application install with the files in the zip file
Im going to have a crack at it again over the crisy break to see if it will work with wincsc and nds

Don't waste your time with wincsc. Get acamd, works great with newcamd and cccam servers. I run it on DVBViewer thou.
And BTW, why bother with some crapy hardware. Get yourself Azure SP400HD and enjoy the show The Azure does the lot. Tested on XP, Vista and now W7

thants funny you should say that about wincsc, not long after my post I came across acamd. Will give it a go, I think the point with playing with a now very old sm200d is that i have a couple just laying around doing squat all so may as well put it to some use
Hi,
if you want to use acamd with cccam get the latest acamd version. I think it is 6.1.2 now.
Cheers
EDIT: I just checked it, it is ACamd v0.6.1.4
