    is win mail the same as windows live mail? im using it.
    ive got the start menu to show all programs
    die hard xp freak.

    windows live mail is hotmail.
    windows mail is the updated version of outlook express on vista i guess ya call it.

    must admit, im in love
    i thought xp was good when it come out but this kills it
    a little over glossy but works quite well
    runs about 46 processes but amazingly when you add programs, they dont all line up in the start menu, amazing bill

    Windows Live Mail has superseded Windows Mail



    I personally prefer Windows Mail and find the new one a lot harder to use.

    u need the win mail vista program files, and sum regedit ing.

    Or you could also use Outlook. It has calander, contacts etc, and you can sync it with your google calander + your mobile phone/pda

    I use Outlook 2007 on Win7

    i been a big xp user for a long time
    wasnt fussed with vista
    but 7 is like vista pretty looks with xp usability
    start menu sux(theres a hack for that)
    turn off the service "windows search" and its fast as
    im in love
