scheduled task no good ?
I often use it with the /m \\machine_name to remote bounce machines.Code:shutdown /r /f /t 0
Is there a way that an automatic reboot can be initiated at a certain time every day.
For instance, what I'm trying to achieve is the automatic shutdown and restart of one of my computers at 2.00am every morning.
Thanks

if you have a username/password, edit registry I think something like autologon? (google it)
and schedule a reboot (as above)
If you feed ducks at a pond, chances are your bound to feed a goose or two without even knowing it.

There is some free software available to do that for you.
or you could use windows scheduler to run a reboot.exe command at the time you specify. There are a few version of reboot.exe software I'm sure youll find one using google.
