Yeah seen the pic and yes it looks great.

Ive been a ford lover for years (old school) but everything from xd onwards just cant work for me.

Holden on the otherhand has got the looks and the performance.

Will be going to see the new Nissan GTR on Sunday. Pity they forgot to put a clutch and gear stick on it.
    Damm tiptronics and auto modes.
    Real men need total control.

Nice Car guys, but do we really need another huge gas guzzler, with the price of fuel rising all the time, Car makers closing down these guys should start thinking about producing cheap reliable small cars ??

    Hey Global,

What do you think of the new FG Ford?? If I was cynical I would say they resurrected the AU body and updated the looks. Not sure how it will go but I think Holden has got the looks and performance even though the VE is not brilliant as a car.

    Hey Tagg,

Since when have car manufacturers cared about the environment? They only worry about their stock prices. Notice the number of supercars being made and general number of performance models the car makers are introducing. They will make more economical and green vehicles when the Arabs announce that the oil reserves are about to run out.

    P.S
    My opinion only

The au body was one of the uglyest things known to mankind.
    Yes i see the resemblance.
The list of standard features is impressive. Electronic stability control, emergency brake assist, traction control, abs and 4 air bags. Not bad.

Fuel economy is similar to a 4 cly camry, 10.1 ltrs to 100km. Very good.

Looks good on paper, yes it could move my body but i wont move my soul.

The new Holdern always grabs my attention and definitly moves my soul.

Sounds like Ford wants to stay out of getting into a KW battle with Holden from what ive read so far. They are hinting at a higher figure in the "three's" for the future.

Unfortunatly some people only look at the KW number on the rear badge.

My vote is its a flop, it just doesnt find that spot in me regardless of its features.

Id be driving it and admireing the Holderns on the road........

And this is comming from a Ford man. Says alot.

My work ute is a VE HSV Maloo and my family car is a VE HSV Senator. Fuel is no restriction to the passion of V8 motoring.

But on the other hand I will save my hard earned $$ for the new chevrolet camaro due in 09, rumor has it, it would probably retail for the same price as the HSV coupe. I was close to buying the new charger, being a fan of old school turned new school muscle cars.

That is very hot! Looks like a Mod job but it's straight from the factory. It will be a guaranteed winner for Holden.
