    whitie will not update you will have to stick in a irdeto compliant box once a month roughly to update or log the stream.

    Maybe try using mgcamd1.29 with newcs 1.5 set your clients to AU. Look for Warbo's post for the setup.

    Vex - dreambox emu's will not update whitey -hence your card dies , but there is reports from warbo that newcs32 & mgcamd 128 & higher will update till we get more tests and reports done we will not know for sure.

    Our friends with original SelectTV cards should try this too, and they may well be pleasantly surprised.

    Seems Irdeto based cards and CCcam are not the best of friends these days.

    You might need to post you configs (less details) so we can take a look as to why.

    # don't want your picture to stop when the channel goes from free access
    # mode to encrypted mode, either your zapper (zapit/Enigma) or newcamd
    # itself has to keep track of PMT changes. Recent Enigma versions do this,
    # so you can set PMT_UPDATE_WATCH to no. Recent Zapit versions also have
    # this option, but it is not compiled by default. So when using Zapit

    Maybe try taking everything out of the newcamd.conf file and only leave in the line below. There maybe something in there stopping it from working.

    CWS = SERVERADDRESS PORT USERNAME PASSWORD 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 wan newcs (newcs being name of server. Change if different name)

    Your mg_cfg file looks fine so hopefully this will fix it.

    maybe you use /var/keys/newcamd.list and he does not as I do not see it mentioned anywhere above.

    This is where your;
    CWS = SERVERADDRESS PORT USERNAME PASSWORD 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 wan newcs

    files reside (make sure the 01 02 etc are correct as out of the box they will not be)

    I don't use newcamd.list, only newcamd.conf in var/tuxbox/config. That's where those details are in my client.

    EDIT: It appears that mgcamd will look for one or the other file if not present and both work the same way.

    Well that's strange, I don't use newcamd.list in either the 500 or 7020. But well done for getting it going.

    We don't know yet 100% if it will keep the gam updated. There are some guys more knowledgeable than I that insist the cam has nothing to do with updating newcs. It seems to update mine alright so far.
