    Default VASS Certificate

Just wondering if anyone can advise a place to get a VASS inspection in Victoria ? A mate has bought a 73 Corvette that needs a certificate for roadworthy.

    Thanks

Yep , have seen the list. Was just wondering if anyone had used anyone in particular as their prices seem to vary a fair bit from what I have read.

Yes ive heard the prices vary, maybe just take the car to a few and simply ask how much?

I know the Ballarat and Bendigo ones are good for custom built Hot Rods and US cars.

I have called the city ones a few times for getting a kit car certified (Ferrari Dino), they were all expensive or didnt want to touch it. The ones in Ballarat and Bendigo were great and took some time discussing the project and regulations, a very helpful bunch.

I was talking to someone at a recent classic Skyline track day that had a Datsun 1600 with a 260KW at the wheels engine that was engineered and street registered.

He mentioned they all vary in what they want to touch, what they feel is right and what they charge. He also ended using one of the country vic ones.
