Default single or dual DVB-C with solid linux support.

I've seen a few people mention....
SATELCO EasyWatch and the Technotrend C-1501.

Are these pretty much the only option when it comes to solid Linux support?

    Does DVB-C even work properly?

I thought Foxtel kept their encoding mechanism a secret.
Hence one could not get a cam + decoder card + dvb-c tuner to work!

    still reading this....

    Cheers,
    J

Nah focussing more on DVB-T and A/V capture (s-vid/component).
DVB-C was always a secondary thing....

Thanks, more interested from a Linux perspective.
It seems some users have had good success here:

I haven't found more recent/active threads yet though
