AZ Box anyone got one ?

Has anyone got the AZ Box with DVB-T? If so can you give me a quick review please.

I am sure it is comaprable to a DM in teh sat department but how does the integration of the dvb-t and media player work out? Easy to use interface?

What would you like to know, i actually love the box even with a few bugs.

DVB-T scans all channels no problems including HD channels, the only thing that does not work on DVB-T is the epg it just show no information (sure this will be fixed in future firmware updates).

Recording either SD or HD to hard drive (i have premium, so hard drive is located inside via SATA). Recording DVB-T while watching DVB-S or vice versa does not work at this point in time but this should work in future.

All in all a perfect DVB-T/DVB-S2/Media Player all in one High Def box.

Just tried it and unfortunely no it does not.

It may work later who knows, maybe when one can record dvb-t and watch dvb-s or vice versa.

Have to remember that the firmware is still in beta and slowly getting better with more plugins and support from users.

Thanks for testing. I have a TVIX 6500 media player/dual dvb-t and its the same wont record tv and play an avi a the same time.

My premium scans all channels except the SBS channels. I've got firmware 0.9.3501. Any ideas? What are you using I might have to try that. Just a quick question, what should my setup be for running a blue card.

It does work if u use Muticas. I was told it works on Newcs as well...
Personally i have tested in Muticas 1.6 it works pretty well...

Mine just arrived after almost 3 weeks! I ended up ordering mine from satshop.tv in Germany. Can't get it to scan in any channels either

Mine did not scan in SBS channels either, might have look into that later. If i find a answer to that then i shall let you know.

I'm using CCCam as client only till the card reader is sorted, but there are a few other options to use. Multicas, Newcs etc.

i have latest firmware 3501 and have all the D1 channels so i cant see thats related towards firmware

I meant through the DVB-T tuner. Has anyone got a blue card running in the internal reader?

Using one of the earlier firmware with multiCAS... and card slot works perfect with goldie and select tv

I too am looking for DVB-T tuner for premium box..did contact sattronics and they did say they will be selling the DVB-T tuner as a seperate item...and will contact when they come into stock.

I got a email from them last week that they don't sell tuners seperately...

That's why I bought one from satshop.tv in Germany. It was $95 landed and took like 2.5weeks! Initially ST were going to supply them for $45

On a side note has anyone found a good font that looks nice and is easy to read, i really hate the original.

This is the reply i got from them 24-10-2009 so maybe stock still hasn't arrived yet..May have to look at what LeroyPatrol did and order direct from Europe..
