its prolly alot easier to go and buy a wired xbox 360 controller. or a wireless controller with a windows receiver. much better option
Hey, ive been playing Resident Evil 5 for a couple of weeks and am getting kind of sick of playing with the dodgy mouse/keyboard combination. So i used a program called xpadder which lets you use your PS3 controller on a PC. It turns the signals from the pad into keyboard presses.
The trouble i'm having is RE5 automatically recognises its a gamepad and keeps switching to 'gamepad' mode, then the controls are inverted/wrong etc etc. And you cant change buttons around in RE5
Has anyone used RE5 with a Ps3 controller successfully? Any light you can shed on this appreciated

yeh gotta agree with satyrikon666
X360 controllers on the PC are pretty sweet
Tried PS3 controller a while back, never got it to work in the way i wanted.
Similar problem to what your describing.
is the xbox 360 controller plug and play? do i hve to play around with drivers etc like i did for the ps3?
Sounds like a better idea with the 360 controller because in the controller menu it looks like it uses the 360 cont with the A, B buttons etc
Thanks for the advice :-)
honest to say,I dislike the game, for a little bloody
