I've been running deep shining on mine for the last 6 months... It really has a lot of bugs and failures.

6 months ???? you must be joking or confused. I made my first Rom 3 and half month ago. And by the way if "It really has a lot of bugs and failures" why do you still use it.

Lot of improvements, less ram comsumption (now 47% used), more eye candy with a new taskbar and nice looking icons.
A lot of updated packages from Leo.
AutoRotation with no need to always slide keyboard (with the possibility to turn this option On/Off).
PowerButton 12 Icons Action Screen thanks to smaberg.
Enhanced D3D Driver to boost device perfomance thanks to At0mAng.
Added MP3 Trimmer and Twitter client.
Battery increment by 1% and not 10%
Start Menu Re-Organized
And some other registry tweaks and mods.

Bottom line, more eye candy, less Ram used and better perfomance with a lot of packages updated from Leo.
