electricity bill have increase for everyone.
I just received my electricity bill from Tru energy and think it is very high for two people living in the house hold.
Total bill or 3months is $400 and is for 2050 kwh billed @ 0.1678
When i was living with my folks we had 6 people in the household with a plasma and a couple of LCD tvs and the most we would see the bill at any one time would be about $300.
Just wondering what kind of bills you guys get and what your running. And the company you are with.

The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

4 people $480 & no including the gas hotwater & heating bill. It has gone up.
During winter $540, that is with a heat pump, heat pump hot water, plasma, 7 computers, 4 showers a day a clothes wash every day. Not forgetting cooking.
I can probably knock a hundred off during summer.
Some people need to get their finger out of their arse so that the brain can get some oxygen"
Just over $1200 for the winter quarter, but that's with 3 kids and a large heat pump in Hobart.
$205.11 and that's a biggie for us.
When I can get a bill from AGL, they range from 450 to 750 a quarter with 2 kids, 2 adults. AGL like to not send out a bill, but then you get a couple. Pricks they are.
You can learn alot using Google, and the search button.....
Just paid one yesterday, $441.09. Two person household. ETU mates rates 5% discount helps a wee bit. I'm sure we could cut down but we have energy saver globes etc. and try to turn lights out in rooms when we walk out.
But computers & TV's & sound systems all take a whack of eleccy to run.
Thanks Mr. taxman.
iam a bogan
$493.54...paid yesterday.
Normal household, 2 adults only,however
Use bore pump for all water, so every time a tap is on, pump goes on, and bore filter in use to clean it as well.
Swimming pool pump on 4 hrs per day
We pay a higher rate than town or semi rural, as we are classed country, paying 19.620 per kWh unit
about $700 a q but once wasnt billed for 10 mnths then got a bill for $2700, got it down to $1500 thru abuse but changed companies since and no probs.
Stop being so stupid.. it’s my turn!!
There is no competition in WA. This means you have no choice who to get power through.
Rates did not increase for 10 years (!) until last month. My bill all last year was about 40-50$ per month.
I have since got a big screen tv and STB and mine is up to about 70 per month now.
When they went up recently, they went up 25% in one go. Still cheaper than other states..
* Bill Paxton is the only actor to be killed by Alien, a Terminator, and the Predator.
Jesus Christ, you people sure run a lot of grow lights!!!!
Our last bill(2 adults,1 child,2 fridges,1 freezer,elect.HWS,2 Aquariums,etc)
$439.01.
The 'normal rate is now 15.6c/kw and over the alowed usage 23.1c/kw.That's in Sydney with Origin.
I don't pay that much for Country Energy on my holiday place near Tamworth.
Country Energy is now 16.3 c/kw and 19.62 c/kw.
Last was $188 for 1 human and 1 cat. It will be higher in summer as I use the aircon a lot.
You guys should know how to reroute the power so it bypasses the metre. lol
$220 to $240 a quarter with discounts. A little high at this time of the year due to the ducted heaters fan constantly turning on.
Thats running 2 plasmas and a crt tv, gas ducted heating, surround, one pc used as a DVR for cameras 24/7, 3 pcs, oven and fridge.
Most of our lighting is compact fluro.
I cannot believe some of the bills here, better check how long you leave your appliances on for, check the meter readings and rate you are paying.
Start pulling plugs quick.
