The Ultimate Boot CD for Windows or BartsPE are bootable cd's of XP. There is no reason you couldnt make up one of those disks with the extra programs you want in it.
I have a laptop with a faulty IDE controller for the HDD. Everything else works fine expect that. I have booted linux from cdrom but what I'm after is using it to run winxp so I can use the latest greywolf also. I system will not boot from USB as does not have that option. My question is does anyone know if you can boot winxp from a cdrom or a network?
Thanks

What would you do if your server was stolen or failed beyond repair?

a few other bootable xp discs you could try
MiniPE
Mikicun 2 XP Live CD
you could also create a cd to mount (DOS) and boot a USB flash drive/HDD of XP

thanks , food for thought
