    Thanks mate i was only thinking of getting a USB sorted, as more and more guys are wanting Win7 installed now
    When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all

    I used the Second method for my Netbook (no drive) worked a treat and a lot faster than a disk install.....

    Thanks, i have heard this from my classmate before. Any OS would actually do. Boot from USB.

    yes we can. but it's lengthy process. window take so much time to install from usb stick
    8. Signatures or user profiles containing advertising for any web sites will be removed , as will your account if you persist in doing it. This does not apply to Premium Members. Advertising banners are not permitted in signatures by any member group. A small logo may be permitted but if deemed to be too big will be removed at Austech's discretion.

    I suggest you try it as it installs a lot faster from a USB than a disk

    Not with the windows 7 tool, when you point it to the XP iso. it doesn't see it as ISO.
    As for windows 7, work as a treat once you prepare your USB, installation time is 9 minutes on a Dell OptiPlex. GX520 with 512 RAM.

    The Microsoft product only seems to like Win7 but there are a few other options to setup other OS from USB.... Post No2 would probably work otherwise just do a google search on Install windows (whatever version) from usb....

    usb is a very slow process i always use ghost.
    and you all can use ghost the same image of your previouse and fresh installation. Ghost taking time at least 20mins of 20gb data.
