    Default how to connect to card sharing server?

    Hi
    just wondering how do i connect to a card sharing server?

    1 - Box #1 is running PLI with mgcamd as the emulator , it connects to the CS server ok! works fine. Now i want to transfer that settings over to the new box (box #2) which is running gemini ...with CCcam204/NewCS
    would it work or do i have to use mgcamd? which files should i config in box #2 (cccam)

    you need to add this line to the cccam.cfg file in var/etc

    N: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx yyyyy uuuuuuu ppppp 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    x = ip address
    y = port
    u = username
    p = password
    dont say linux if i wanted it id install it

    make sure the 2 boxes are using different username & passwords in NewCS.xml

    mg_cfg is only a config file for how mgcamd handles its emm,ecms & types of share etc.

    mgcamd uses

    var/keys
    mg_cfg - settings
    newcamd.list (shares)

    var/tuxbox/config
    newcamd.conf (also for shares)

    you can use one or the other same as evocamd...

    it also can use newcamd.conf or file in var/keys of similar name.

    this is well documented everywhere .
