igo8 on HTC TYTN II - no maps?!?

hi there,

sorry to start my first message on the forums with a question. Ive done alot of searching on the forums but couldn't find anything that would help me. I had TT on my HTC which doesnt work anymore after my hard reset. I still have the files on the SD card but wont work.

So i decided to download the igo8 off bit torrent. I got the software and installed it on the HTC. Works fine and locates me etc but there are no maps. The map folder has australia.fbl map in it but when i go to search an address it wont let me input any address. It seems like it aint recognising any maps. I downloaded a newer version of the maps and tried again but still it wont work.

any clues guys?

What version iGO8 8.0xxx or 8.3xxx
as 8.0 maps dont work on 8.3, there is only one map for 8.3 with no speed limits
