    Do you think windows defender will be enough without any other anti virus programs for windows 7 ?

    No windows defender is a anti spyware program not a anti virus program, got to the site and read up and you will see

    "Windows Defender is software that helps protect your computer against pop-ups, slow performance, and security threats caused by spyware and other unwanted software by detecting and removing known spyware from your computer. Windows Defender features Real-Time Protection, a monitoring system that recommends actions against spyware when it's detected, minimizes interruptions, and helps you stay productive"

    plenty of good free av's out there, no need to pay if you dont want to

    Avira is another good free antivirus , with the free version you have a nag window which is easily killed using security policies , link below.

    Microsoft security essentials(new and free from Microsoft) + windows defender should be ok.
