Windows 7 Password Renew

Barts PE wouldn't boot in this new Laptop so i couldn't change the login Password

I found this program and it took all of 5 minutes to burn the CD and change the password

Thought it might come in handy for someone else


Here are the instructions

An oldie but a goody
I've been using the linux password reset disk for a good five years at least

What it does is either blank or change the password.
It does not reveal the password.
It is a text interface, not a graphical one, but it's very easy to use. Basically pressing 'enter' will select the default choice.
If you have trouble finding the enter/return key then it could be a problem, but other than that it's a walk in the park


If your thinking of using it to hack into someones system, then keep in mind that they WILL know. Because it does not reveal the existing password you cant remove the password then put it back. They will work it out because there password is now blank
That being said it can be worked around by making an image of the disk

I had ERD commander back when Windows xp was a baby!
You used to be able to download it from the company website but m$ bought it! haa (gone now)
Still... Torrents should have that proggy
It had been a true life saver in its time
And probably still it
