Default For those Religious - How often do you go to church ?

Religion...to me the root of all evil , but to some a way of life and to many a belief.

BUT..................lets see how dedicated they are So the poll question is :

If you believe in God , how often do you go to church ?

Remember , lying will get you a ticket to hell.

( This applies to all religions , the question is based on the majority religion of this country. If you believe in a minority religion , you can also select what best applies to you )

Yes, to describe religion as the "root of all evil" is quite bizzare to say the least.

A very strange comment/line of thinking Sanity. Sorry mate but had to make a point here.

No , this one is just for religious folks to annoymously own up to how often ( or not ) they attend church. I am just curious. There are still a lot of people who say they believe in God but many who dont make an appearance at church in this country.

I did say " to me " the root of all evil , meaning of course that its my opinion only of course.

Its not that strange an opinion I dont think......I wouldnt be surprised if some out there agreed with me

I think we all do that, but how often do you go and practice your faith?

I respect that it's just to 'you' but still think using 'root of all evil' is a bit extreme. Then again, going by certain religions their are a few church ministers that have scarred some males for life, so from that respect, well that would be a justified comment.

BTW, I'm not infering, in the slightest, that you may had some bad experience here to make this statement.

No bad experience , though I did have to go to Sunday School everytime I stayed with my grandparents as a youngster. That was bad enough on its own , I would be really pissed off as hell if I got molestered AND had to endure singing those stupid songs as well

I dont think his comment is extreme.

Follow up some history, follow some wars, then check the religions.
Bosnia ring a bell for anyone?

I can honestly say that as a young child my parents dragged me to Croation church to listen to the Catholic priest carry on about politics and Serb oppression (here in Melbourne).

    Talk about stiring the shit.

I think you missed one Sanity:
"How many people don't believe in God and got married in a church by a priest"

I do believe in God and therefore I was married in a church, but as for going to church well thats just not for me....each to their own.

I do NOT preach religion to anyone as I think that is totally wrong, on the same hand I don't appreciate people forcing their non beliefs on me.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions

Never found a church with seats comfortable enough to sleep on so prefer to sleep at home on Sunday mornings.
isn't God everywhere ? He can come see me anytime but prefer after lunch

    Religious I am not but
I look at my kids and see how perfect they are (they haven't grown up yet)
and I think there is a God of some sought (unless I am just the luckiest man in the world)

Anonymously I don't go to church ooops
When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all

I am religious and I don't go becuase the buildings that are put up to please people are just that. If you think any kind of a God is interested in your construction and business skills your a moron. I try to practice my beliefs every day, you'd be suprised how many people continue breathing as a result of my religious beliefs; it's certainly not my first preference.
