    Default windows 7

    Hi all,

i recently upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 by paying $50 and an additional $15 from the website if you have a current .edu email and it installed fine on my laptop.

now i want to install windows 7 on my other computer but was wondering if it would let me using the same disk or do i need to purchase another copy of it?

i guess i would need to buy another windows 7 disk but thought i'd ask first.

    Thanks

the only reason i want to upgrade the other computer to windows 7 is because i cant get the 2 computers networked together. I have them on the same workgroup but still no go.

When Vista was installed on my laptop, i was able to print documents. The printer was connected to my other machine with XP installed.

Now i cant print from my laptop.

P.S. Where can i get a patch from??

    Thanks

I'll check it out tonight on both computers. Its should already be turned on on my machine with XP on it because it worked before. I'll check windows 7 (Laptop) and see how it goes.

    Thanks

When purchasing the student edition of Windows 7 Pro upgrade version from

This site legally allows you to purchase 2 copies of windows 7 one 64bit and one 32bit.

Since the supplied keys work with both 64bit and 32bit. This will allow you to install any of the following combinations.

    1 x 64bit & 1 x 32bit
    2 x 64bit
    2 x 32bit

The second option is to buy another copy of windows 7 pro for students from Microsofts web site.

By using the above two web sites to purchase student editions of windows 7 pro, will enable qualifying students to purchase up to 3 copies of windows 7 @ discount prices.
