    Default Question about voip

Hi I have my daughter just moved into a new home

There are no phone lines at the moment not for another 3 to 4 months

She has a Good PC , I thaught we connect her with mobile prepaid Broadband

approx 4 gb and the USB stick from ...3 she,s not on line much .I thaught try using this VIOP with Skype so she can make calls
some one told me the quality of this set up is not as clear as a normal phone .

Dose that depend what phone I use cause it has to be USB to go to the PC

I also read posts talking about billion 5200g is that something like Skype

Iam to new at this but I have to try and help my Daughter

Can someone help me with some easy advice on what the best thing to do
    and what to buy

    Thanks Reno

ps. All this was because of a AAPT stuffup

They said there was a line there but there wasn,t.
but because it wasn,t on recording. cannot do anything
she has to wait for a line to be put in by telstra... So make sure
everything is on recording when you go with enyone

    Yes, go for VOIP.
To make your daughter and your life easier, setup an account with Pennytel and use PC to call around. Once you get your phone line sorted out you can move to a more convenient solution which will require additional hardware purchase.

Just been looking around we are going to get a USB stick from ...3

We don’t want to spend hundred’s of dollars on a phone just for a couple
    Of months

I have this funny feeling that AAPT have this Voip There not open on weekend
I remember they tried to get me when it started
so if she is with them already .... I will see what they have to offer
so long as there is no contract

    What do you guys reckon
