Excellent looking unit.
T-moulding, I queried last week and he's no longer going to stock it. He referred me to . I'd imagine both places would do buttons.
What are your plans for the screen ?

That's some nice work, wwf!
For the CRT I highly recommend buying a throwaway TV from the tip shop and one of Jomac's . The end result is a much more authentic visual experience than that of a high resolution computer monitor.
For $145 the universal chassis is good value IMO. It works brilliantly with a wide range of tube sizes (but not Sony trinitron).
1. Choose TV from tip shop of required size. Doesn't need to be working, so long as tube is intact. Pay $5-50 depending on size and condition.
2. Measure horiz & vertical yoke resistances with multimeter, give those readings when ordering universal chassis.
3. Carefully
4. Remove all the TV's guts and throw in bin.
5. Mount tube in your cab, with or without the original TV's plastic housing
6. Hook up your Jamma board, , PC + or whatever.
I bought one for a 48cm (19") Panasonic TV we picked up for ten bucks at the tip. Hooked up to a budget and it sprang to life straight away. The picture was initially torn, quickly fixed by tweaking the horizontal hold. Then I realised it was mirror image, fixed by swapping the wires to the vertical yoke. After a quick tweak of the size, position, brightness and focus it was all good. A great result: cool, quiet, reliable.
The universal chassis doesn't come with any documentation, though it's pretty self-explanatory if you know anything about TVs. Joey offers to answer questions and has long history of good service. Plus there are many others on forum who've shared experiences with the universal chassis and can answer questions about them.
Caution: if you know nothing about the internals of TVs then for safety's sake please don't attempt this! Stick to running MAME on a TV using Radeon 9250 with composite video or SVideo, that gives pretty good results. Novices with no experience of electronics should never tinker inside TVs, monitors or switchmode power supplies because mistakes can cause injury or death.
Oh, I forgot to mention, I've bought joyticks and buttons from and been happy with their service.
Looks similar to mine, i even have the slide out drawer for keyboard and mouse, i built it 6+ years ago, i got my stuff from ozsticks in clayton, mine is 2 player, 6 button, spinner and trackball, hooked up to a ipac keybpard encoder, even have a working coin slot
I used pine veneer panel and stained and varnished it like a piece of furniture, i have pic's somewhere
