    Default Ink (2009) + Julie & Julia (2009)

Not sure if I like this or hated it, the ending seemed to go on for ever!.
Hard to explain this one, but Good Vs Evil is and apt description.

Best bet is to read the details on IMDB

    IMDB INFO
    ----------------------------

Nice story based on a true story. Its not cutting edge or action packed, or even overly dialog driven.

Hate to generalize, but "it's a chick flick", but if you just want to watch a decent drama then this is ok.

    IMDB INFO
    ---------------------

some complete failures - absolute stinkers

I can look at Amy Adams all day. I'm keen to see it. The bits that I've seen through the port glass look promising.

Haven't heard of Ink before. Sounds interesting.

    SlickStu,

Yeah, I think shes cute. could not put my finger on where I had seen her before (might have a view @ her filmography). Meryl really holds the film together for my money

I first saw Amy Adams in the Disney movie Enchanted which was really quite good (and she was great in it) and then I saw her in Charlie Wilson's War and she was good in that too. And yes, Streep is always reliable. Sometimes it's a pleasure just to watch her work; she's always so nuanced.

    Wow stu,

did not realise she had been in so much... I remember her now, In Talladega nights (after looking)

dont remember her in some of the other earlier films, (even though I have seen them) amazing how you can miss someone.

btw, when are you going to get a review happening...

Haha, I'm afraid fatherhood keeps me away from the movies more than I'd like. Will have a review for The Boys Are Back next week and A Serious Man the week after.

I saw David Caesar's (Idiot Box, Dirty Deeds) new flick, Prime Mover last week and can recommend it. It's a truckin' love story.
