    Default channel list help on dm7020

    Ive got my m500's working pretty much as i want them but my7020 seems to be a problem,maybe someone can help me,,,when you bring up the channel list in the dm500's,,well just about any box actually,it has the channel names and also whats on each channel ,,but on the 7020 ,ive tried about 15 different skins and theyre all the same,, down the bottom it will show a discription of whats on but nowhere does it show the name of the show or movies thats playing,,as you can imagine ,,FB01 - FB26 is f&^%ing pain in the neck.does anyone know how to fix this?

    1. make sure both boxes have the same image and same settings
    2. you can use dreamEDIT to copy the settings from your 500 and copy them to your 7020, but make sure you copy over your satellites.xml file as well.

    Do this and bingo they have a similar look and feel (if you use a PLi Iolite image you can use your 7020 remote on both boxes too)

    thanks mate ill give it a try,,,i was under the impression dreambox edit doesnt work properly with 7020?

    Lots of ideas ... specifically what did it not fix?

    If you followed what I suggested it will have fixed;

    1. EPG issues
    2. Channel issues
    3. Bouquets issues

    Well it does for me on the 500, 600, 7000, 7020 all the same mate, all same same!

    You made the wrong impression then Works a ripper mate. But remember you have to copy over the satellites.xml from the 500 to the new (it is a different location) location on the 7020.

    thanks mate,, problem solved,i feel like a dickhead,video button anyone? thanks Z80,you learn something new everyday!

    however,,i would like to know more about the different location on the 7020

    so what are the paths for the 7020?
