Use the radio channels on the 180, there are about 10x, all FTA, they are more fogiving than TV services................use them as your reference to peak your dish and system.

Another trick is to buy a quad LNB from Sciteq Perth, around $100, they are the most sensitive LNB's around and they add a few extra db to your margin which equates to upping your dish size, a cheaper alternative + U get all those EXTRA O/P's for additional Rx's.

XXL, runs for 4 hours starting at 23:00. You need a local resident in New Caledonia to maintain your subscription. Too many hoops to jump through for what it's worth I Skynet is a much better deal.

This 1,000,000 sq km downlink footprint has a contribution feed ex a Paris fibre into BT's Marina del Rey California uplink on the 180.

Normally this is BISS encoded, but for the last 6+ months it has been FTA.

What I meant was,it was a lot easier and better in old days.

All you need was a 85cm or slightly bigger dish,a goldie or silver with the keys off the net and a modified Hummy compare to a Bigger dish and $$'s for a card and $$'s for a box +cam for T18 Skynet.
I would prefer XXL still compare to previous XXX's channels off NSS6,thanks to our Government and our friend Brian Harradine who canned those channels..

I have my dish on a motek, but few years ago I adjusted the LNB to optimise D1, 2, 3. So I wasnt getting i701 any more.
After reading this thread, I got up on the roof and adjusted LNB for i701.
I scanned all visible transponders. All the channels are encrypted Biss or Seca2, only Contrib Polynesie is FTA. That is ONE channel.
I cant beleive this whole thread is about 1 channel. Yes I assumed wrong, I thought the WHOLE boutique was FTA.
Obviously I lost many transponders on the Optus sats, so I got straight back up the roof and readjusted for optimal optus sats.

Just slow down guys with channel as it may get banned by the goverment. Just like the channel on NSS6. And just a reminder to wash your hands when finished watching.
