    Default Region free ODD

    Hi

Have a ODD that all the regions are used up (ie 0 changes remaining), is it possible to make the ODD region free then put on the OS software region free software? What I mean is it possible with 0 changes remaining or does it have to have more than 0 remaining to allow this process to work, just that I havent done this for a while.
What region free software does everyone use these days?

    Cheers

    What model drive is it.

There are some hacked/custom firmwares out there that should do what you ask and more. I cant remember where i found the one for my old pioneer drive but it worked wonders.

Basically the hacked firmware removes region coding so the dvd player lets you read all regions discs. What you could do with region 4 discs before, you can now do with any regions disc. It does not get rid of normal retail dvd encryptions [css].
Anydvd gets rid of most [all?] encryption and region codes from a retail dvd so the computer recognizes the disc as a non-encrypted, non region coded disc.
