    Default Windows Recent Documents List

We all know that Windows XP has a "My Recent Documents" list.

This consists of a folder into which Windows places links to files that have been recently accessed.

Question is - are there any duplicate places in Windows where this list is also kept - ie a clone list?

Say for example the main "Recent Documents" folder is emptied out (wiped) - is there anywhere else on the hard drive that Windows stores a back-up copy of what was in this folder?

When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all

In short the answer is No. The only place would be "Recent documents".

But as for System restore, I think by memory it does restore files and programs to the date of restore.
