Default Should I keep Or Should I sell PS3

Got my New Telly Last week.
I Got the Sony and Love it.
Got it networking to my DVDs I have saved on my PC
200mhz, 3 year Warranty, Freeview Compatible (Mpeg 4) from what I can see
Got it for great price. - Very Happy
With My Telly I received my PS3 ( Lighter Slimmer Bonus 120GB PS3 Values at $499.95 each ) - Arrived in Mail yesterday.
Question is Should I just sell it. ( Is Still Unopened Box )
I already have a Wii and don't play it often enough as it is.
As far as a Blue ray player is concerned I'm Not that into it - Just don't think it has taken of as much as i would have expected.
I'm quite happy with my DTS & Dolby Dig collection of DVD quality i have laying around.
Would be just another Console I have laying around gathering dust and used possibly 4 - 6 times a year.
I see that the JB HI Fi Catalog has it on promo for $499
What would be a fair Price to ask.
I have Receipts that will go with it should there be any issues in future while under warranty.

keep in mind the ps3 can 'upscale' ur existing dvd's to HD. maybe hold onto it unless you have an upscaling dvd player already

Flog it off for $350 as a minimum. That'd give you a decent return on your investment and im sure itd be snapped up pretty quick.

$400 would be the upper end of how much you'd get.

You don't need the ps3 to upscale a dvd. the tv does it for you. built into the sony bravia engines. I have a kdl40w4000 that I got just over 12 months ago and it does it sweet as.

As for the ps3. you can keep it and use it as a blu ray player if you are going to play them. you can play games on it, it has some internet availability. photos etc.

If your not going to use it and can do with the $300 then sell it. the 250gb ps3 was just released and this will no doubt drive down the price of 40 and 80gb models.
Haven't killed anyone who didn't deserve it.

Really the 4 that were killed deserved it.

    kdl40w upscales?
i thought only the x/xbr did that if any model does
as far as im aware this model of tv has no "built in" upscaling per say.

can you provide some evidence poison?
i used to sell these models and never cam across this feature.

Read in here. there is some info in some of the reviews. Remember that the 4000 models have the sony bravia engine 2

One snippet taken from a review.

"It’s important to stress following our problems with the 46W3000 that the 40W4000 is also unusually accomplished with standard definition, upscaling it to the screen’s full HD resolution with a noiseless assurance that’s now up there with the best of the similarly priced LCD competition."

dont wanna burst ur bubble poison but, that is a review not a manufacturer spec or claim.
Going thru some of my old paperwork from sony, there is no mention of and upscaling for the 40w4000 nor X/XBR for that matter hence why we sold upscaling dvd players and such.

it is an awesome S-LCD tv but it features no upscaling afaik.
